Symptom Logging That Is Actually Useful
symptoms tracking caregiver
Better logs are specific, short, and comparable across days.
Capture context, not just intensity
When logging a symptom event, include approximate time, activity context, and whether medication timing may have influenced it.
Use the same labels every day
Changing categories too often creates noisy data. Keep a stable set of labels for at least two weeks.
Close the loop weekly
A log without review quickly loses value. Spend 10 minutes weekly to check what repeated and what improved.
